Estany d'Es Peix is a shallow lagoon shoreline on Formentera, reached on foot from nearby tracks and paths. Access is open, without gated entry or fixed hours indicated. Ground can be uneven, and no step-free access or adapted facilities are indicated. Parking is informal near lagoon access points, followed by a short walk to the water. Public transport is limited toward the La Savina area, so walking is normally required for the final section. Morning and late afternoon offer milder sun and calmer conditions for resting at the water. Summer is warmest and busiest, especially near moorings and restaurants. Spring and autumn are milder and quieter. June through September is the most practical period for warm lagoon wading. The shore has sand with a shallow muddy bed, suited to slow entry, standing and floating. It is not a place for distance swimming. Sun exposure is open, with little natural shade, so sun protection, a hat, water and footwear for soft or uneven footing are useful. No toilets or showers are indicated directly at the shoreline. Food and drinks are available at restaurants near the lagoon, not directly on the swimming area, so many visitors bring water and snacks and plan meals before or after.
