Plage naturiste des Pissarelles is a small pebble beach near Cap-d'Ail in Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, reached on foot via the coastal footpath. Expect steps and uneven rocky sections along the walk, followed by a pebbled shore without dedicated beach parking, toilets, showers or lifeguard service. Most visitors use town parking in Cap-d'Ail and walk to the path, or arrive by train to Cap-d'Ail followed by a walk to the coastal path and then to the cove. There is no admission charge and no gate or set hours, with use concentrated in daytime for stays of a few hours. The warmest and most settled swimming weather is from June to September, when daytime visits for swimming and sunbathing are most common. Mornings generally bring quieter conditions and direct sun over the open shore, while midday has strong open sun exposure and little natural shade for shelter. Bring water, food, sun protection and everything needed for the stay, since there are no food or drink sales at the beach and no facilities to support longer visits. The cove is generally quiet with low visitor numbers and is better suited to independent adults because of difficult access and lack of facilities. Dogs are not expected to be welcome on the bathing area, so plan to leave them away from the shore. The sea water is clear with a pebbly shoreline and deeper entry close to shore. Footing can be slippery on pebbles at the water entry, so enter carefully and allow time on the uneven shore. The small enclosed shape gives privacy for sunbathing and swimming within the marked naturist cove, while swimwear remains the norm on the access path outside it.
