Nørre Lyngby Syd is a sandy beach on the North Sea coast south of Nørre Lyngby, near Løkken in the North Denmark Region, within Hjørring Municipality. The beach is listed as a naturist-tolerant section within a mixed textile shoreline, so textile visitors may be present along the same shore and naturist use is reported in parts rather than across the whole beach. The setting is open and quiet, with a wide sandy surface and dunes behind the beach that provide some shelter when wind rises on this exposed coast. Plan for full sun exposure, little natural shade, and wind that is common through summer, with mild and changeable weather that can shift during the day. Bring sun protection, water, food, and warm layers, since there are no dedicated beach facilities at the section and nearest services are in Løkken. Access is on foot across sand using dune paths from small coastal parking areas near Nørre Lyngby. The walk is short but crosses soft sand, which gives limited accessibility for people with reduced mobility and makes wheeled access difficult. Stay on established paths across the dunes to protect vegetation and keep the sand clean by taking all rubbish away. Public transport is limited. Regional buses serve Løkken, from where onward travel is on foot or by bicycle along local roads and paths. There is no admission fee for the open beach and access has no fixed opening hours. The sea is cool, with waves and currents that vary by day and with weather, so swimming conditions change and require care. June to August offers the most comfortable weather for a beach visit, with mild summer days that suit swimming, short walks, and half-day stays. Outside summer the shore is colder, windier, and very quiet. Crowding is generally low, although warm summer days bring more visitors to the sand, while weekdays remain generally quieter. Short visits work best because supplies must be carried in and out.
