Fraisthorpe Beach faces the North Sea on the Yorkshire coast south of Bridlington. The reported naturist area centres on the point where Earls Dyke meets the sea, extending for several hundred metres on either side. Surrounding shoreline remains in textile use, so position yourself clearly within the established area and leave space between groups. The setting is remote and open, with sand underfoot and little natural shade or shelter from wind. Parking is at Auburn Farm, near the Cow Shed Cafe, about three miles south of Bridlington. The car park is reported as paid. From there, walk south along the shoreline for over one kilometre to Earls Dyke. Allow extra time for soft sand, tides and carrying supplies. A bus can stop on request at Stone Hills, roughly between Fraisthorpe and Barmston, but an onward walk is still required. There is no admission fee reported for the beach itself. There are no toilets, showers, lifeguards, food outlets or drinking water at the beach. Bring water, food, sun protection, warm layers, a windbreak if needed, and bags for taking all waste away. Daylight hours are the practical visiting period, with midday warmer in summer. June to August generally offers the mildest conditions, but weather can change quickly. Check tides before setting out because beach width and the stream outlet can vary. Mobile reception and help may be limited on this remote section, so tell someone your plans and avoid swimming alone in cool water with variable surf. Carry everything out again on the return walk north to Auburn Farm, allowing the same slow pace over soft sand.
